Alumni reunion at the Aga Khan High School, Mombasa

The Aga Khan High School (AKHS), Mombasa hosted an alumni reunion for the Class of 1965 on 19 January.

Residing in various parts of the world today, such as Canada, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, the United Kingdom and the United States, 15 alumni gathered at the school where they recounted how AKHS, Mombasa gave them a solid foundation on which they built their lives today. 

During the reunion, the alumni toured and appreciated the newly rehabilitated facilities of the school and mentored the students, encouraging them to learn skills that will aid them when they graduate. In the end, they pledged to begin a fundraising initiative to support some students at the school with their tuition fees.
